Introduction to the My Foundation DietSM

Welcome to the My Foundation Diet!

After many years of inquiry, observation and clinical practice, I am excited to share with you an evidence-based, timesaving tool designed to help both busy health care professionals in their practices and individuals seeking to make positive dietary changes. 

As a Registered Dietitian/nutritionist helping clients, friends and family with their health concerns, I am often asked: 

Where do I begin in changing my diet?   At first thought, this may seem overwhelming until one understands that the transformation to better health and vitality simply begins with a “foundation diet”. The My Foundation Diet is a “nourishing compass” guiding one on the path to restoring, renewing and rebalancing their health. It includes the bioactives from whole foods that support health and excludes offending foods and common allergens that may cause adverse physical symptoms and contribute to chronic health conditions.

What is the “My Foundation Diet”?   This is a delicious, seasonal, whole foods and ecologically intelligent eating plan that contains core ingredients identified by decades of nutrition research that support health and healing. The “My” in My Foundation Diet appreciates that a nourishing eating plan must be personally attractive to one’s taste buds, lifestyle and genetic make-up.
